NEW – Aspen C110
“The new Aspen C110 is the next step forward in the evolution of their renowned outboard cruiser line. Like all Aspens, the C110 uses their proprietary patented PROA cat hull design which maximizes efficiency, performance, and delivers a smooth stable ride.”
New features include Mercury outboard engines that feature larger alternators, digital throttle & shift (DTS) controls, and electronic steering for easy and precise maneuvering and dockside control.

The C110 PROA cat hull form allows buyers to choose either hull matched power with a 115-horsepower (175 opt) engine on the thinner hull and a 200-horsepower (225 opt) engine on the wider hull or twin 225s which increases top speed slightly. Both engines weigh the same, have the same physical profile, and offer optional 115-amp alternators that can run major systems like 17,000 BTUs of Air Conditioning and still have enough power to recharge Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery banks. The charging capabilities of these Mercury outboards combined with modern battery technology allows enough power to run all onboard systems including AC even during overnight stays away from the dock without needing a generator.
The new C110 length overall with the motors down is 38’ with a beam of 10’8” which still allows the boat to be trailered. This extra length adds buoyancy aft and makes the swim platform 16” more spacious than the previous model. The added lift from the extended waterline allows tenders to shift aft when carried by Aspen’s EZ Davit, freeing up cockpit space without weighing down the stern. An added benefit to the slightly higher waterline of the new hull configuration is improved heavy weather performance without compromising the smooth ride, speed, and efficiency Aspen is known for.
Aspen’s newest model, the C110
The new Aspen C110 builds off the proven lineage of their previous models. The C110 delivers the performance, efficiency and smooth stable ride that Aspen’s are known for but with either twin outboards or hull matched power. Owners are now able to decide, based on their engine choice, whether they want the best fuel sipping efficiency available or opt for higher top speeds and slightly more total fuel consumption. Both options are delivered in a manageable three cabin layout with all the cruising comforts you need for extended stays onboard including long term expeditions like the great loop.
Performance and Efficiency
The first Aspen C110 with hull matched power (Mercury 225Hp starboard and 175Hp port) outboards is proving to be fast and able. Top speed is 34 mph, and 4,000rpm delivers a cruising speed of 24 mph. During preliminary testing at 20.2 mph / 3600 rpm fuel usage was 12.4gph or 1.63 mpg which delivers a calculated range of 293.2 miles based on 180-gallon expedition tanks with a 10% reserve. In addition to efficiency, an added benefit to Aspen’s displacement PROA cat hull form is a smooth stable ride even in rough conditions. There is no “hump” to get over like most planing boats so Aspens accelerate evenly and can be run at any chosen speed.
Outdoor Living
The new Aspen C110 has a spacious cockpit with more useable space than ever, even with a Carbon Cat tender stowed above the transom since the design lets the tender ride further aft. Cockpit features include a counter under a pop-up window to the salon with removable swing-out barstools. Other amenities include a wet bar with fridge, a large cooler for storage, additional seating, a removable table, hot and cold freshwater rinse off shower, rod holders, and plenty of storage for water toys, crab/lobster traps, diving and fishing gear. A convenient transom door leads to the extended swim platform which is complete with a retractable stainless steel swim ladder.
Cruising Comfort
Inside the climate-controlled cabin of the new C110 there is a fully equipped galley opposite a comfortable lounge with a central teak table. Twin Bentley helm seats look out from the dual panel windshield forward with wraparound Solar Guard windows all around. Opening side windows, overheard hatches and an opening rear window and door let in the breeze when desired. Ideal when cruising there are three private sleeping cabins and a spacious head with a shower. The owner’s cabin forward hosts a king-sized bed, a luxury rarely found on boats in this size range.
